Beach Bums

Today we spent the morning at Dana Point Harbor at the baby beach. Matt was in class and I knew I didn't want to get in the ocean so Connie and I decided that the baby beach would be our best option. It was the perfect place for Ethan to get in the water and Hudson could roam around on the sand. Ethan jumped right into the water never even noticed that is was cold. Hudson on the other hand was not as brave. First of all Hudson would not take off his shoes. He would run all over the sand but once he got near the water he would freak out when the cold water touched him. Finally he began throwing rocks into the water and didn't notice it was touching his feet. Just as he got comfortable he lost is balance so his entire body was in the water. That was it for Hudson, he started crying and was ready to go home. Gotta love the ocean air because as I am typing this both boys are fast asleep.

I know this doesn't really go with the post but it was too cute.
They were watching a movie before bed.

notice he still has the backpack(which is now what I use as the diaper bag)

not to sure he wants to get near the water

Ethan is already splashing around

building sandcastles

more sandcastles

stealing the toys from big brother

time for a cheetos break!

Brotherly love......

that shadow would be Hudson about to mess up his name in the sand

Ethan thought it was so cool that I could write his whole name in the sand.
